Senior Banner ERP Programmer Analyst

The Senior Programmer Analyst will provide requirements analysis, software design, application development, implementation, integration, and maintenance for Ellucian Banner and associated administrative systems.     Duties & Responsibilities:   Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions based on defined requirements and according to institutional and industry standards.   Use reporting tools and programming languages to design and develop reports.   Perform systems analysis for new business processes and business process improvement.   Design and implement automated batch processes.   Implement solutions in the student information system.   Maintain and enhance existing solutions and document changes.   Troubleshoot technical problems and errors encountered by users.   Develop and maintain integration between various administrative systems.   Manage and perform Banner system upgrades and related projects.   Provide end-user operational support and satisfy ad hoc requests for data.   Recommend and implement best practices with regard to the institution's administrative systems.   Review system documentation prepared by others for completeness and correctness.     Required Skills:   Knowledge and experience working with Banner SIS.   Bachelor's degree with appropriate related work experience.   Experience in higher education information technology support.   Student information systems in higher ed.   Strong SQL language programming and query optimization skills.   Relational database design and normalization experience.   Strong problem solving skills.   Procedural programming experience.   Ability to work and participate in a team environment.   Outstanding work, task and time management aptitudes.   Excellent information gathering, research, and reporting skills.   Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.   Excellent customer service skills.     Desired Skills:   ITIL Experience.   Knowledge and experience working with Oracle Database Server.   Evisions Argos reporting platform.   Appworx/UC4/Automic process automation tool.   Degree Works degree audit system.   Knowledge and experience with financial aid and student functional areas. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
